John's Native Gardens was visited by Phillip Oliver and Michael Scott from Dirt Therapy! We had a wonderful afternoon strolling through the gardens, telling stories and taking photos!
Please be sure to click on Dirt Therapy to see the wonderful post and photos from Phillip!

Autumn Sights at John's Native Gardens

The sights at John's Native Gardens are evoking thoughts of the holidays and a sense of gratitude for the beauty of the world around us.
As always the porch is full of welcome warmth.

Not even nature's fury can bring down the spirit here...
...a tornado created tree stump now is a home for whimsical birds spinning in the wind to survey their new home!

There's always a place for our winged friends to find a sweet treat!
 And the color abounds!

We're hoping your gardens are bringing you the joy of the season!

Looking on the Brighter Side of Darkness

The recent tornadoes in Alabama have left much devastation and sadness. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by the storms and great thanks to all who are helping those in need.

We here at John's Native Gardens are working to bring back the beauty that was lost.
This beloved Old Oak just couldn't hang on.

The scene from a month prior...
 Has changed dramatically.
This beautiful Red Japanese Maple was one of the very first that John planted in the garden.

Saving this sentimental tree will be a challenge, but the effort is being made.
Even with all the work ahead, the drive is clear...
 ...the views are breathtaking...
 ...there's a place to sit...
 ...and beauty abounds!

LaRue will be here for her annual Spring Sale May 6 and 7 to help you bring beauty back to your yard.
Hope to see you here!
